Last Chance To Get FeelAbouT EP Album!

A second away from running out of all the copies you have the last opportunity to get the EP album of FeelAbouT and get to be one of a few that holds the first bootleg of the band, right before the release of the first debut upcoming album!

Feel About's CD, "Release", is a modern 5-cut EP that features female vocalist and lyricist, Roni Weinstock, supported by guitars, bass, and drums that, in the first track, "Maybe", move between clean groove rock rhythm ala Red Hot Chili Peppers and saturated up-front metal. Weinstock's voice is an instrument - well trained and thick with presence, she weaves it dynamically between a whisper and a rage as she sings 'I'm falling into you. .maybe I'll fight you, maybe i'll bleed'. The songs ends like a lingering death. The next track again showcases Weinstock's voice. The song, "Sing", has her blowing power with her voice from start to finish and sing she does. Her voice is as powerful a rock vocalist as we've heard and, even with the compression that is used liberally to coral it in, we can hear the makings of a metal throated monster. In track 3, "Follow Me Down", immediately brings everything down in mode - as the band's slower and Roni's gentler performance side shows, 'follow the footsteps down with me, follow me down, down'. Her vocal prowess, especially in the easier less powerful space, gives us a glimpse into the versatility of the vocal. The comparison to Ann Wilson is undeniable. although Weinstock has a switch that turn on the metal in a way we haven't heard before. Unique. In track 4 and 5 the band moves towards a satisfying strong ending as the tempo comes up from the ballad. "No Pain No Gain" pushes Weinstock back into the power against a lighter airy musical backdrop. Lyrics are mired in hopelessness and a tortured vocal spirit, 'the pain of shame, the blame, you've blamed, the games you play, i won't make it anyway'. The guitar lead with wah-wah is ripe and the perfect choice. The tune's our favorite on the EP. The final track, "Small Mind", begins innocently and suddenly grooves metal funk in 6/8. It's the most musically ambitious both from an instrumental arrangement angle as well as a vocally interesting harmonic component. Our favorite lyric is within the tune as Roni sings about the ironic benefits between displaying a small or strong mind in a time of war, 'small mind is good for you strong mind is bad..don't lose your soul, not for some spots i the mud'. Ultimately the EP is a true and complete representation of the band and artist. We look forward to hearing the abundant creativity in a longer album format with ten minute tunes. Feel About has an opus in them - we can hear it. There's an epic quality to the record, which is nearly impossible to do in an EP, that once stretched and explored will be magical.

So… what is the L.A music awards?

The Los Angeles Music Awards is the largest event for unsigned bands going on for 17 years! It is known for giving the first big step in the international music scene for bands such as: No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, System of a down, and more.

We will perform In front of the industry people and the local crowds! The event this year will be the largest event in the history of the Los Angeles Music Awards and will take place at the Music Box Theater (was suppose to be at the Kodac Theater but Spielberg rented the place and no one can argue with him right?! :))

We are nominated at the category of "Best Alternative Band" for the "Best Female Vocal" category with the song Small Mind.
